Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using Arthmantra. By creating an account or using the application, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Arthmantra ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
These Terms constitute a binding agreement between you and Arthmantra. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
2. Account & Registration
- You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account.
- You must provide accurate and complete information during registration.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
- You may only create one account per person. Multiple accounts for the same individual are not permitted.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree to use Arthmantra only for its intended purpose — personal finance management. You must not:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or another user's data
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the application
- Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access the Service
- Upload malicious code, viruses, or any content intended to damage the Service
- Misrepresent your identity or impersonate any person or entity
4. Your Data
You retain full ownership of all financial data you enter into Arthmantra. By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
We will not access your financial data except to provide the Service, troubleshoot issues at your request, or as required by law. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
You are responsible for the accuracy of data you enter. Arthmantra does not verify or validate the financial information you provide.
5. No Financial Advice
Important: Arthmantra is a personal finance tracking and accounting tool. It is not a financial advisory service.
Nothing in Arthmantra — including reports, dashboards, projections, net worth calculations, or any other output — constitutes financial, investment, tax, or legal advice.
You should consult a qualified financial advisor before making any significant financial decisions. Arthmantra is not liable for any financial decisions you make based on information displayed in the application.
6. Service Availability
We aim to keep Arthmantra available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be unavailable due to:
- Scheduled maintenance (we will attempt to notify users in advance)
- Unplanned outages or technical issues
- Circumstances beyond our reasonable control
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Arthmantra and its operators shall not be liable for any:
- Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
- Loss of data or financial loss arising from use or inability to use the Service
- Errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in any reports or calculations
- Unauthorised access to or alteration of your data
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
8. Account Termination
By you: You may delete your account at any time from within the application. Upon deletion, your data will be permanently removed from our servers within 30 days.
By us: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without prior notice. In cases of serious violation, termination may be immediate.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Arthmantra shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of India.
10. Updates to Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
